In 2017, I worked with actor, Siaka Massaquoi, to develop his story for SoulPancake's, That Moment.
The following year, he received a note from a teacher, Dana Walsworth, in St Joseph, Michigan thanking him. She had been using the video we made in her lesson plans, and the kids really responded to it.
Siaka then reached out to me to let me know about the correspondence, and we arranged to surprise the class with a visit from Siaka and capture it all in a short documentary. The experience was extraordinary for all involved.
