I was connected to Lacey through Dear Jack, a young adult cancer organization with the hope that Lacey and I could find a project to collaborate on.  Like me, she was a young adult survivor with an interest in video production. Months later, I saw on Facebook that her cancer had relapsed, and she was now categorized as terminal. I flew to Denver and we spent a weekend talking about life, death, and the idea of being a dying person.
