Park Bench has really been getting attention lately. Tom and I just played a round of Golf last weekend. He beat me by two strokes. Proves he is the bro and I am the nerdy hipster.

8-13-08 "I Kissed A Girl" - I just finished a parody music video for that feverishly annoying love song, I kissed a girl by Katy Perry.

8-3-08 "PARK BENCH WINS!" - That little web series I wrote just took home 1st Prize at the NewTeeVee Pier Screenings in San Fransisco. I was so thrilled to watch the live stream of the event. The night celebrated TV series made specifically for the web and were judged based on the audience wanting to see the rest of the series based on the pilot (or first episode). Check this out:

5-15-08 "PARK BENCH PARTY" - Park Bench, that lil' series I wrote and starred in with my good friend Tom Murphy, has been winning web awards left and right and was just featured in AFTRA magazine. Go Moli! I'll be in NYC again this fall. I've been writing a lot, so hopefully there will be a flurry of shows to hit your face.

2-5-08 "Primaries" - Get out there and vote OBAMA today. It's America's chance to restore integrity to the white house with a man of grace and fortitude. Speaking of fortitude, I have Cancer. I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in January and have returned to Denver for treatment. I'll be back in NYC soon. Mad Love.

11-28-07 "Long Time Since We Spoke" - So it's been a while since I've updated and I'd just like to give you a quick rundown. I recorded the voice of Sid Vicious for Channel Frederator's "Dan Meth Minute 39". I also just put up my one man show, Cool Your J, at the UCB this last monday and will have a proper run of it in January. So wipe off your theatre shoes, cuz Nick needs you to come see him! I worked on Thanksgiving. I guess that's just for sympathy.

10-25-07 "WILDER" - Wilder, a team of highly skilled improvisors assembles tonight for the first longform improv night at the Broadway Comedy Theatre. Here's a picture of the silly guys:

10-11-07 "Photo Night" - I just got home from work to find this on the new york improv forum. Fun show, TRUCKS. And what a joy it is to be playing with Betsy Stover. She was the wind between me and the floor. (Look closely at the girl in the audiences gasping expression).

10-10-07 "Series Up!" - after a long and painful wait for the park bench series, all six episodes have been released on Moli.com (http://www.moli.com/p/parkbench/). I'm really excited for the series and hope it does well. I think a second season is in the works. Be sure to check it out!

9-25-07 "Sidework" - Sidework - restaurant improv, is coming back to life after a run lst summer at New York's Big Little Theatre in the Lower East Side. It's a fun show with a great cast - definitely appealing to all those artists who know the trials of New York restaurant life.

9-13-07 "J is Cooled"
I'm home from a wonderful night of celebration with friends after the debut of my one man show, Cool Your J. I feel great about the show, though it wasn't without its flaws...sometimes, I find remembering words a little too tough so I just dance. I just want to express how grateful I am to the UCB, Nate Smith, Rebecca Drysedale, Jackie Clarke, and everyone who has played a part in making this show happen. It was so much fun. Sarma, Tim, Jen, Rob and Suzanne, Tom Murphy 4 life, Cody, Gosia, Drew, Nacho, Everyone who came tonight. Mom, Dad, and Chad. Trucks. Wilder. Black Habanero. Mate Tea.

9-8-07 "Nick in Logo"
I just got ahold of the marketing material for our series for Moli.com and it has both Tom Murphy and I in logo form. I've never looked so handsome. Look for Park Bench later this month!

9-3-07 "Whereholes"
Black Habanero and an awesome cast of UCB actors shot a bunch of sketches in two locations upstate this weekend. Look for 'Whereholes', 'Cannibals', 'Sunspots', 'Friday the 13th' and 'Apocolypse Maybe Later' very soon.

8-26-07 "Park Bench Series"
I sold a web series I wrote with Tom Murphy to Tertiary Productions earlier this summer. We filmed it in early August and it should be coming out any day now on Moli.com. I'm really excited to see the end result. The series takes place on a park bench in NYC's Central Park and stars Tom Murphy and myself as Adam and Matt - best friends who have a lot to learn. Special shout out to Tertiary and the production team for an amazing shoot.

8-26-07 "Get Psyched to Cool your J"
Get Psyched, cuz I have a one man show debuting at the UCB Theatre on September 13th called "Cool Your J" at 6:30pm (early enough to get dinner afterwords). Come see it. It's my first one man show and should be a really fun night, if not awkward and uncomfortable. It's a collection of characters who need to cool their j's. Also, go see Rob Lathan's "Get Psyched" at the UCB as well. I have a man-crush on Lanny Latham.
